No. Part of Standard Life of Indiana’s strategy is to grow the company through the sale of innovative, capital-efficient products that pass maximum value to customers. If you submit a “clean” application with funds attached, we’ll issue the contract and commission payment that same day. They will be sent back to you via 2-day express mail. Your commission may arrive even sooner if you sign up for Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) of commission payments.
Interest rates are held for 30 days from the date we receive your application.
Standard Life of Indiana offers a series of single premium Total Command annuities ranging in duration from 3 to 10 years. Additionally, there is a 10 year flexible premium Total Command product, the Total Command Flex.
Total Command is a series of annuities that are designed to enable clients to maximize credited interest rates by declining certain product features that they don't need. Features can be added to the annuities, paid for with a slight reduction in credited rate. This enables agents and customers to take “total command” of the annuities, crafting them to perfectly suit the needs of each individual.
The two most important differences between the riders are the number of allowable withdrawals and cost.
The Preferred 10% Free Withdrawal rider allows a single withdrawal per contract year of up to 10% of the annuity’s account value as of the previous anniversary. The cost of this rider is relatively low.
The 10% Free Withdrawal rider allows multiple withdrawals in any contract year, so long as they do not total more than 10% of the account value on the previous anniversary.
MVA stands for Market Value Adjustment, and it is applied to the amounts payable on withdrawals or surrenders, and to death benefits and amounts applied to provide annuity payments prior to the end of a Guarantee Period. The adjustment reflects change in interest rates since the beginning of a Guarantee Period.
